Usually Friday is a fun day. The end of the school week. All of the homework is done and put away. We plan our Saturday activities. We may even have visitors from out of town! This is not what we had planned for Friday afternoon!
I got a call from the nurses office at school (nothing new so that wasn't the point of concern). She said Wesley had hit his head (again not alarmed). Then she said I may need to take him to the ER. 
Well I guess the only thing to interject here is "I guess we are due for an Emergency Room visit, as we have mad it four months this year without a trip to TMC!" Wesley was running backwards on the playground and fell and hit his head on a "red pole"

He only ended up with three staples with a bonus opportunity to shoot the staple gun before they threw it away! Hey how often to you get to do that? He is fine and back at school with his attached show and tell story. I'll let you know how the removal goes. (I think we are going to do it ourselves since we own the tool!)

Note to self...if my kids ever need stitches...call Aubrey. You sound like a pro. You'll probably be able to apply stitches before you know it. This post was sad but hilarious. Poor
Wesley but LOL with way you handled it. I miss you Aubrey. Can you please take your famous jumping up and down picture screaming with your hands in the air. I know I have one somewhere but I'm not sure where it's stored. As soon as I find it...I'm framing that bad boy!

HEAD STAPLES? Right on, dude! Welcome to the danger boy club. I'm making you an honorary member. You win the prize. The only excitement we had was Paul walking into the deep end of a pool and having to jump in and pull him out this weekend.
Oh how scary! So glad he's okay. I hate getting calls from the school. They always freak me out. I'll have to show my kids his staples. I hope you have no more trips to the ER!

Oh poor little guy, Kenz had staples last year in her head, no fun at all.
