The Latest Project

While G is removing rock from her yard, we have decided to add it to ours. When we moved into our house we had grand ideas of a beautiful lawn in both our front and back yards. While we have a nice lawn in the back (at least during the summer) the front yard was a loosing battle. We have finally decided that the ground is our enemy and it is time to give the earth back to the desert. A tear will fall...



Anyways, we have been loading and hauling brick-positioning fill dirt and creating the perfect placement for our pathway. When its all done it will look really nice, but for now it is just a lot of work and mess!

Construction Zone!

This will be our story until the day we move...REMODEL REMODEL REMODEL! I know it isn't an all the time thing, but it feels like we have been working on one room or another since we moved in. (Probably because we have!)
All of the windows are done...YAHOO! The kids rooms are done for the most part. So is the guest bath. Now we are working on the room that I may have dreaded the most. Drum roll please, the family room. How do you remodel a room that our family spends so much time in? It has been crazy! After a world wind weekend effort, we are taking a break for a couple of days. But, the round corners, texturing, and most of the painting is done. The fan is moved/installed. We just need touch up and molding along with flooring-which isn't happening until everything is done.
Like I said, we'll finish - then we'll move!
