So we were on our way home from Lowes last night and the kids were talking and singing in the back seats when Ashley's song just stood out...She is kinda loud! She was singing 'Bear Necessities' from The Jungle Book. After like three rounds of the chorus she stopped and asked me, "Mom, why do bears have stripes?"

So cute when they interpret songs with what they think is being said. I like her version better.
silly kids! i remember as a kids making up my own words to songs and being so disappointed years later to find out they wrong!

I want to know... what did you tell her?
Did you tell her that she has the words wrong, and avoid the severe devastation of finding out years later she's been singing in wrong? (i'm with audycamp on this one... I hated finding out later how wrong I was) Did you tell her that bears don't have stripes? Or did you simply say, I don't know... what do you think? haha.
Just curious on how to handle that when I have kids. :)
