Yesterday we started the antibiotic. They gave him pills to swallow which made me feel like he is too grown up. What happened to the pink bubblegum stuff? He is still a kid! Anyways, we went to see the E.N.T. and within moments of seeing Allen and checking out his "growth" (which has decreased considerably since yesterday-I should add) He declared that Allen has an infected salivary gland, which is already being helped by the antibiotic. Simple as that. He used his doctor's Thesaurus and gave it some fancy name, but that is all it is! He probably got a little dehydrated, the gland got plugged and bata-bing bata-boom Infection! Dr Parry told Allen to keep taking his antibiotic and also to suck on some sour candy(that's the kind of doctor all kids desire) and massage the area, then come back if it isn't any better!
So Allen is looking better and feeling better about everything-Mom is too!
