I love my kids school. The teachers are amazing, the curriculum is above and beyond, and there are so many lds kids at the school with them. However, the Head Principal is a pill, and they have had some serious issues with the a/c not just this year, but also the end of last school year! So, what do I do about it you ask? I talk to the Principal...then I talk to the district superintendent...then I talk to the head of facilities management.... That was last week. Then on Friday, we walk into school and the A/C is off again. So I go to the front office and excuse my kids for the day because I don't think they should have to try and concentrate in that kind of environment(it was already 86* in Wesley's classroom!) So I get home and I call the state superintendents office. And then the state head of facilities management. Now before you

Go Aubrey!!
Good for you ... if you don't stand up for your kiddos, no one else will!
You go girl. THat is absolutely ridiculous. No child can learn well in that type of environment. I am sure the teachers are grateful to you too. I know I wouldn't be a very efective or happy teacher teaching in that heat. Good job! ALI
Um, you're more patient than I am. I would have just called the news. "9 on your side" would have it taken care of it because bad publicity seems like all these schools fear anymore. If that didn't do it, I'd threaten a transfer. Then the school loses funding for your kids. I just feel so bad for the teachers! Maybe you guys can talk a company into renting you a space cooler for charitable reasons.
Awesome job! Aren't you smart, I saw your IQ score! That's the same score my husband got, and I'm ok with you being smarter than me, but my husband?? No way. I obviously am pregnant and an insomniac when I'm pregnant so don't judge me by the time of my comment!! Maybe I should get a night job. Thanks for the answer to that question... my sister can rest easy now! And she's in a master's accounting program at BYU so that should make you feel good! Rachael Ray
